Partner With Us

Whether you are looking to take your start-up to the next level, to bring some fresh ideas to your non-profit, or are just hoping to establish a pipeline for recruiting future BYU graduates to work within your corporation, becoming a partner through the Ballard Center can help your organization reach your goals and increase your ability to do good in the world.

Step 1: Connect and Collaborate

Share insights as a speaker, empower social entrepreneurs through judging ventures, or mentor an internship team.

Contact ballardcenter@byu.edu to explore the best partnership opportunities for your organization.

Please give us your name, organization, social issue, and how you would like to be involved with Ballard Center for Social Impact. We look forward to hearing from you!

Step 2: Get Vetted

The social innovation space is constantly growing. Because of this influx of growth, there are simply too many companies to vet. The Ballard Center uses a selection of partners from seven world-renowned vetting organizations:

  • Acumen

  • Ashoka

  • Echoing Green

  • Mulago Foundation

  • Peery Foundation

  • Schwab

  • Skoll Foundation

If you have been vetted by these organizations or have achieved Social Venture status in the Social Venture Academy, you are eligible to partner with the Ballard Center and participate in its programs.

If you have not been vetted by the organizations mentioned, contact us at ballardcenter@byu.edu and let us explore opportunities

 Step 3: Get Student Interns

Work with a team of three to five talented students who volunteer up to 40 hours a week collectively on a project you identify which adds up to 400 hours a semester.

Benefits include the following:

  • Receive fresh ideas and high-quality work on your projects

  • Gain access to academic resources through the team

  • Contribute to the field of social innovation by inspiring young people

Contact sip.byu@gmail.com to find out why so many organizations partner with Social Innovation Projects.
