SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECTS
Social Impact Projects (SIP) is an on-campus internship program that empowers students to work on innovative projects worldwide for award-winning organizations that make a difference.
Our Partners
We pair BYU students with hand-picked organizations to help them with social impact projects.
Here are just a few of the organizations we’ve helped over the years:
Projects last one full semester (Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer) and provide professional experience supported through academic curriculum and experienced advisors. A 3.0 credit class runs concurrently with the projects for students to learn about social impact and develop the skills necessary to succeed in this 7-9-hours-per-week internship. SIP students build their resumes, make connections, and serve society.

At the Ballard Social Impact Center, we connect business practitioners who care deeply about social impact with students who are developing theories, philosophies, and models for real change. Social Impact Projects are a crucial mechanism for creating meaningful partnerships that help learners and teachers reach new heights of social change.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a business strategy that refers to the intersection of profit and providing social value. This positive way of doing business is becoming more and more used by customers, investors, employees, and CEOs alike.
